The first day of the Easter holiday and the 3A class activity by Rachel

 Firstly, I feel sorry for forgetting to do the blog yesterday, so I hope you all won’t mind me to share my experiences in 3A a bit lately. Anyway, back to the topic, after months of hard work, we can finally take a short rest during the holidays. But actually, the homework we have this holiday is enough to squeeze us out from our happiness. ><

 Today, we have our class activity in Hong Kong Science Park. We had lunch together. Although not all of the 3A students could join the activity, we tried to enjoy the moments which we have with each other as we know we don’t have many time left before the end of this year’s term. We should treasure the times that we spend with each other. We had lunch in a restaurant in Science Park. Even though the food was not that delicious, we used the time to chat with each other well. After that, we played in a big area in the park. We ran towards each other and felt very enjoyable. We played for around four hours.

  We had a great time today. The reason is not because of the delicious food or beautiful views, but it is because we could stay with each other and spend our time with each other. “We are all in this together”, I think this sentence is right. However, the happy moments are always too fast to be passed, we need to work hard for our U.T. and homework tomorrow again.

3A class activities by Matthew Cheng

Today is the first day of the Easter Hoilday. We had a class activtiy today.

Today I woke up at 9:45 and went to the Tai Po Station at 11:15. I met Toby, Oscar and Kenneth at the bicycle rental shop. I was a little bit late. Toby brought his venzo bicycle. That was awesome and cool. He told me that it costs about $3500. There is also a speedometer that record the mileage and the top speed. The mileage was about 200km and the top speed was 65km. We start our journey at Tai Po Market and end at Science Park. We follow the bicycle path to the Science Park. On the Tolo Harbour part of the path, I look behind, and I suddenly rode onto the arch of the pedestrian and I fall on the floor. Finally, my foot and elbow got hurt. I don't feel painful at first.

After I arrived Science Park, I started feeling painful. So, I went to the OK shop to buy the protective plaster and stuck on the wounds. We played the Deal game and waited for our 3A classmates. After awhile,  Mr. Cheng and the classmates came and we started to have our lunch. I have a Korean seafood hot pot rice. Although I did Orthodontics 2 days ago, I still enjoy my lunch because the hot pot rice was really spicy and delicious.

After the lunch, we have a chasing game on the clear area in Science park. And Toby and I rode around the Science park and following the path beside the Tolo Harbour. We have speed race on the path. That was really exciting. At around 6:00 p.m., Toby, Oscar, Kenneth and I went back Tai Po by the bicycles, other classmates and Mr. Cheng took the bus and train back to their home.

Although I hurt myself incautiously, I really enjoy the class activtiy because I enjoy every moment that 3A was play together, study together and being punished. I believed that every 3A students also enjoyed and treasured that the moment that we are all together. I hope that we can go to the same class next year, so I started to work hard in this holiday.

Today, we were going to the Science Park to have our class activity. We started prepare for this just 1 day before it  was held. Why we choose Science Park again it's because there are a big place for us to play.

At first, we have our lunch. It was really terrible. The food (pizza) is small and less. I didn't know how were the boy's lunch, but hope that they were better than us!! :) I really feel sorry about that!!!

After the lunch, the most execting part of the class activity started. We went to the ground that we went last time and played "MaiZhou". Mr. Cheng joined us too. At the beginning, there were only two people be the one who catch others. Yet, as it was to hard so we add the people to 3. We ran a lot and laugh a lot, especially laughing at Man Chun.

In the game, Mr. Cheng ran the fastest, so when he was the one who caught us, we all showed the whit flag. Then, Henry, Oscar, Christopher and Jody also ran very fast. Henry always won the game!!! Yoyo is the one who always being isolated by others as she everytime hide very well.

Today was a really happy and wonderful day. We though that it was the worst class activity ever when we were having lunch because there were less time to prepare and the food... But anyway, we played more and laughed more in this class activity. Hope that we still have chance to hold class activity! And hope that the whole class can join it!!!  

Our last practice

According to what Michelle mentioned in the previous passage, the “no teacher day” continued today. Sometimes I really think that these three days are already enough to spoil us to not to have lessons and just sit there and do nothing. But of course they won’t spoil us! It is because during some spare lessons, English lesson and after school today, we all went to practice for the English drama performance tomorrow. Although it cannot be called as a total formal performance, we used every trick in the book to practice as we want to keep the good memories for ourselves in F.3 school life. Happily, we had a chance to perform in the hall tomorrow. But at the same time, it made us to feel a little bit nervous as the place is not as small as our normal classroom, it is a real stage.

We don’t have as much experiences on acting as other schoolmates do, but when I saw everyone stood on the stage and tried to show their confidence to the audience, at least when they were practicing, I felt quite touched. It is because I know it is very hard to stand on the stage and perform in front of so many classmates. But just like what Mr. Cheng told us, the only people who knows did we miss lines or not are our own selves. So we don’t need to be so nervous. Anyway, I hope every group can show their best to others during tomorrow’s performances.

By the way, this week is the first week that we try to have two English- Only- Days. And today is the first day. We learnt ten new idioms in the lesson and as a matter of fact, they are all very meaningful and useful for us. Since we have already tried to have English Only Week before, I think these two days will only be a tiny challenge for us before the Easter holidays J

Today is the no-teacher day for the morning. Why? The reason of having no-teacher day in the morning is most of them is going to Shuntak! Yet, for Mr. Alan Cheng, he is sick as he was caught in the cats and dogs! TAKE CARE, DADDY! HOPE YOU’LL GET WELL SOOM!! WE MISS YOU!!!!!!

Morning class affair, all of us are ‘REALLY QUIET’!!!

Chinese, we are racking our brain to try to have some idea for what to write for the 4 writing which not less than 250 words. In the first Chinese lesson, we weren’t trying very hard to do them since we knew that there was another Chinese lesson. However, in the second Chinese lesson, all of us remained quiet and chased after the writing. We need to hand in before the lesson. Of course, some of us couldn’t finish and they were being told to hand in before school ended.

We have discussing about having class activity in Easter Holiday as after Easter, we may be very busy for the final exam. Again, it is really hard to discuss with our dear classmates. Luckily, Mr. Chan helped us to stop the classmates and told them to listen to us. It is a bit funny as we both don’t really know each other.

In the English Lesson, we have our drama practice. All the groups were working very hard. I think English Lesson was the most active lesson today. Congratulation!!!

Easther holidays are COMING !!!! by Ireland 2011/04/15

Today, Fever (Our School's SA) started the Easther Celebrate Activity, and this morning , the members and helpers of FEVER stand near by the school gate and distributed some Easther bookmarkers to the students, which was designed by themselves.

This morning, on LS lesson, we went to the Computer Lab. to do our project which is about a questionnaire that statistics different kind of things, our group's topic is to analyze the relationship between one's happiness and one's academic result by questionnaire's research.

On the Chinese lesson, we had our dictation, everyone work very hard to recite three paragraphs.~


After Math Lesson, suprise things appear! We had a mini concert of musical groups of our school and a Australia's school. The girls of our class felt very excited because they really enjoy "savoring" the handsome boys from Australia XDDD. And the musical groups' performances are really fantastic! I enjoy the show although it's over run, however, because of as audiences, our junior students behaving really well today, so the teachers decided to let us have more times for ur lunch!

On the English lesson, we had a group sharing from Scotland, every students participated the activities setted by Scotland, especially for the "saying HELLO in different language". I really felt very excited with the Japan Korea parts! XD

  Hello everyone! Today is the time for Andy’s. I want to tell you guys about today, and share something to you.

  Today, we used to have a Science Quiz. Mr. Dik said that we need to revise the 3C Science book, but he only did a dictation with us. This is an easy dictation to 3A, of cause, Winson, Yoyo… Some “god hand” (good like god, the best) got very high marks. Although they did well, some of us also need to work harder. I thought I would get at least eight… The final answer was different from what I wanted, I only got seven. I did three mistakes, image, satellite, inferred. Yeah, again, silly again. Never mind, do better next time. Dude, swear to get at least seven.

  The second funny thing was the English lesson, the India group sharing. It was funny to know different accents. Especially the video, they were the most interesting things. The dogs were speaking in different accents. I thought “Fat dag, don’t shout, it’s annoying”. Also the Italian accent’s video. The video was great, I knew what problems can the different accents give to people. Fork, it just like F uXx.

  In the LED lesson, Miss. Ho told us the FB that happened yesterday. She said one and half hour. Although Miss. Ho told us things that can help some people, it just like what I thought before. Don’t trust other before you clearly now the truth.

  By the way, I want to share a song to you, “New Divide” from linkin’ park. I hope you will take a look and swallow the lyrics to know the meaning. “Tell me I’m wrong by telling me points; Tell me you are correct by giving me the reasons”.

SO HAppy,What A Drama Rehearsal by Ireland

Today, we had drama rehearsal during the English lesson(of course= =). it was a great opportunity for learnig English. All of the classmates were excited.

it was unfair because of the decision of my groupmates!!! I didn't want to be Kathy as i didn't want to act like a girl. However, my nightmare was came so that I tried my best......

JackS & Rachel were doing the drama and sitting in the 'bus'.

 In the rehearsal, there are many groups were doing very well. I prefered Toby's group as their performance was the most interesting as it is related to the Mafia as i cannot imagine it. Also, their clothing were outstanding, particularly their sunglasses. If i need to choose the best group (not included Ireland), i will choose this group.

Wedding Party

When our group was begining the rehearsal, i felt a bit out of sorts because i can't remember all of my part of the script. Also i need to wear the fake, long hair. it was blue. To be, or not to be, that is a question. Tried my best was my answer.

After the rehearsal, i thought i did it not too bad but not good. I must be careful and took it serious on my script. The performance is coming soon.

What A Day...By Ireland Yasmin

Finally, we had already finished our China Studies test. When I went to the classroom, all the classmates were concentrate on their China Studies notes. However, still some of them were not so familiar ~.~ Anyway, hope all of us can get a good result :)Or else, we may receive a big”present” from Ms. Chow.X.

In the first lesson (English lesson), we have our news sharing which prepared by Australia.This is the first time that we have a unique method to do the news sharing :P Looking forward on how USA will present their news to us tomorrow...... After the news sharing, we continue our rehearsal.

As we will have some guests to join our lesson tomorrow, we all are trying our very best to recite and perform our drama. Hope it will impress our guests :D

In the music lesson, we got 4 groups performance. All of the performers did the “finally practice” outside the music room. Although some of the groups got problem on sound balance, I think they did quite well. At least they didn’t give up in the middle of the performance.

This is what we need to be when we face difficulties.

Busy week of 3A / 11-04-2011 by Ireland Winnie

WELCOME TO 3A'S BLOG AGAIN! HERE IS OUR BLOG STAR AGAIN, MAN CHUN !!

(well, I started to consider about whether we should make a photo book of Man Chun or not...xd)

This week is a busy week for 3A student, as we have a lot of quizzes and UTs this week, however, thanks for Mr. Cheng’s help, we can have more time to prepare our drama!

This morning, we got an Chinese reading UT, at 8:13, Miss Chiu came and we started our UT.

 

After the Chinese UT, we have a oral practice for preparing the TSA, sorry for did not get the permission of taking photo on Chinese Lesson, Miss Chiu ><.

The lesson after recess is LS, a secret guess came on the lesson, but we stay claim because these weeks had a lot of guess, so today’s guess did not surprise us.

After LS lesson, it was English lesson! Today we had a drama practice section, our group mates who are in Ireland and Canada, were all enjoying playing drama, especially for our DRAMA KING and DRAMA QUEEN! Properly everyone in our class look forward to their show, right?

And tomorrow, we will have our China Study UT, everyone in 3A please works hard and “add oil”, otherwise, Miss Chou may punish us!!
