My Feelings At School By Stephanie

I have been studying in LTPSS for three years and I would like to talk about my feelings.

First of all, I can tell you that LTPSS is definitely a compus that fully filled with love, care and support. It is becacase when I have difficulties,my classmates and teachers are very willing to offer assistance to me and never think that I am troublesome,I felt regretted for giving them so many troubles though. I remembered very clearly that when I was in F.1, there was a leadership training camp, which was my most touching and impressive moment I have ever encounted. There were many activities which might be dangerous and challenges for me,at the beginning, I thought I can't do it, after their encouragements and supports,I finally succeed! I was really super impressed by their long clapping and happy screaming! They always accompany me to wherever I go, accompany with me when I have ups and downs. I am glad that I have met such couple of good classmates. :)

In addition, I would like to talk about the daily school life. We are F.3 now, the things we learn is harder than before and the workload is getting heavier. The work is really non-stop the past few weeks, homework, projects, competition trainings nearly comes everyday and all of us are very busy, want to stop the time and take a deep breath. I felt same here. At the moment I thought I would be collapse soon, I was so lucky to have your care and support, it makes me feel warm, I believe that we can pass through the difficult periods soon. Add oil 3A! :) During recent days, we are discussing about the class T-shirt which to show our passion and spirit towards 3A, thanks Kelly and Winnie for their great help!

LTPSS is a big family, just as what our principal said,"Happy School and Caring Campus". I believe that my secondary school life will keep filling with love, care and support. hope I can continue studying hard to achieve my ideal as a doctor who care about patients' physical and psychological health! I wish all of you the best! Let me give a big thanks to all of you for your care and support! :)

Busying - by Winnie Lo =)

First of all, sorry for the late blog entry.

UTs are coming, and comparing last year, is much cold. I can’t stop freezing, ha ha.

Finally, the final design of Class T-shirt have approved! I am very glad that I can help for designing the Class Tee, it’s quite interesting, and now I am looking forward for the finished products, for now, I am going to draw the logo for 3A :)
Actually I was quite worry about the camp on November, as our t-shirt may can keep out the cold, although the design is cool, also, according to my experience when I was Form 1, it was a quite horrible camp, as my Form 1 class 1A is not united enough, we got punishment from our coach, for doing push-up one hour!!
Hope the same thing will not happen again.

Furthermore, today I have just finished my individual presentation, I was very nervous ><, however, thanks for my classmate’s attention; luckily, my presentation wasn’t too boring.
Also, thanks for Mr. Cheng’s advices, I will work more hard for my next presentation and try to speck slowly.

Tomorrow, we will have our LS presentation, good luck for the students who are going to present tomorrow LS lesson.
Time to continue my project, see you soon =)

A Cold Day by Karen Lo

The Weather changed today, from warm,or even hot, changed into cold. Many of us put our sweaters on.
In the second lesson of English lesson, there was a talk about drawing held in the hall,S1,3 and 4 students join this talk. Maybe the talk was so boring, many of the students are chatting or even sleeping. The students's behaviour made teachers unhappy and disappointed, so Mr. Wong asked us to stay behind for giving the punishment. After Mr.Wong had given the punishment,Mr.Cheng did to 3A too.I hope we can do better next time so that we won't get punishments.
SA held an activity after school, about halloween. It's ghost house. I've went to ghost houses and I think it wasn't that scary that I thought. However, they had limited place, limited time and limited money,if these were not limited,I'm sure that they can do much better.Under these situation. I think they had done a great job!I am looking forward to the activities that SA is going to hold in the future days.
F.3 is much more busier than last year and last year.Homework, quizes, dictations and projects was held nearly every day.It make me feel so stressful, and I don't have enough spare time to do my own things.Although I know F.3 will be much more busier than last two years,I never think they come so suddenly.I can't imagine that how will it be in the rest of  the days!
We are now discussing about the class T-shirt. I really want to thank Kelly and Winnie. They help with it a lot, they design the T-shirt and find a T-shirt company for making the T-shirt.I'm sure that the class T-chirt will be very beautiful, because it was "made" by us,we vote for the design, the logo and the colour of the T-shirt.I can't wait to get the shirt, which represent 3A.

Preformance Day...........by Dawn Lau

Today was our class performance day, it was a bit scary and exciting.
Some classmates were praticing before time for having lesson.

Before the perfomance, we had to go down to the hall by 12:30, it made me eat in about 5 minutes, it was a bit rushed but thats fine for me.The main "actress" wore a really funny clothes,"she" wore a dress with a scarf on "her"neck, she even put a hat on "her" head.

                                                                 Our main "actress"

While we stood at the backstage, I heard that a lot of laughing from the audience during having performing. Some of them even cheered and shouted when our classmates performed. At the end, two of our classmates do some reflection with the audience and end up by shouting slogans and clapping hands.
This drama makes me know that sometimes you need some challenges in life, otherwise you may not think that life is pretty fun.If you try to experience it,you may learn something new and interesting.
Although the drama will make everyone tired and also used a lot of the time, but it makes me learn what is a "team " .
Here are some other photos......

Some day in 3A by Jessie

Today, our class had the last practise for the class performance tomorrow. Everyone worked very hard for the performance.

Man Chun needed to turn many times..!? He looked very funny. (xd)

Classmates who was watching the performance rehearsal.

The dancers who danced baby, they used a lots of time to practise this dance. They even stayed after school to practise it!
Today, they succeeded in the end. ^^
Because Yoyo and Christopher had something to do, so they didn’t come to the last rehearsal. Therefore, some other classmates took their jobs.

I think 3A will be more busy next month.. UTs, dictations….etc.
There are three dictations (Chinese) next month….@@
Today, we also vote for the class t-shirt.
The result is :
-black for the hat and  sleeves
-the local is no.1
(If the company can't make no.1,we'll use no.3.)

What do you think of this picture?
I think..it looks like a pig...!!?

Class performance rehearsal by Grandy

3A!!!

Today, the weather is not really stable and standby no.3. We are very lucky to go to school today for a rehearsal of our class performance. After school we have to practice the performance in our hall.

The umbrella of our classmates~

Our board with a pink umbrella~

However before we decided to rehearse it and book the hall for our class performance, we have lots of difficulties. It is a shame that several classmates can not attend with us.

Miss Ho & Mr. Cheng are acting~

Yesterday our classmates have already decorated some part of the board. And they are still working hard for it. It makes more look like our 3A classroom, thank you their work hard.

The not yet finished board~

We have a drama for our class performance. In this drama we have actors, actress and dancers. Every one is able to have at least one job in the performance.

The two main characters~

The strong boy move “fat dog”~

One of the scene actors and actress~

First we practice in our classroom then we go down the hall.  During the performance, we have some stopping time because of our mistakes. We often make some mistakes and have to take two. As this status, we have not much time to practice. Finally the part of “baby” dancers stayed there for practicing more and the others can leave early.

The dancers dance “Sorry Sorry”~

The dancers dance”Baby”~

The end of our performance, we shouted our slogan “3A精神,尖端達人”,and then ”Just soom it”. We must strive in the class performance. There is only one performance for our 3A. Try hard!

The time that we leave finally~

The busy kids by Yasmin

Today, we are still having the practice on our hall performance. All of our classmates are very concentrate. Therefore, the rehearsal runs very smoothly. Although there still have some mistakes make by the actors. But I really appreciate them because they act better than before. Last time when we were practicing in our classroom, all the audiences remain silence. However, Mr. Cheng was acting in a shouting part. He suddenly said out his dialogue loudly and made us laugh non-stop (even Mr. Cheng had laughed at what he did =D) On the other hand, I think the dancers should be practice more on their dancing step because it is not yet versed. They usually forgot the dancing steps and stand to wait till they remember. But anyway, I trust our class will be in the right track on the performance next Tuesday!!

                                                        They are dancing s0rry s0rry`
                                                                               hearts!!<3
Man Chun and Rachel act happily...haha^^

Time goes very quickly.5 days LEFT, and we have to say good-bye to Valerie! Valerie hasn't come to school for a long time. And the register had cross out her name too. It makes me a little bit sad because I lost one of my friends and my English tutor. Valerie, please come back and visit us whenever you are back to HK.
Does anyone miss Valerie? You can write down some messages to her if you want her to know.

Remarkable>3<

Wednesday by Michelle

Wednesday by Michelle

When we all were in Form 1, Wednesday was a happy day since we didn’t have CCA and we can went back home early. However, we now have 2 CCA period and we can’t go back home on time almost every day.

Anyway, we first have the English lessons. We had play crossword and word finding. They are really exciting as every group wanted to be the first one. For our group, every time we heard someone said “Oh! I found that!” we then would grin “Oh no!” and work harder again. I think most of the groups have similar feelings as us. We had talk about the jobs as well. I think Toby had done an excellent work. If next time we have any tongue twister competition, we must send him to join that.

About the math lesson, we’re now talking about gradient and something like that. I just know that whole class is trying to work hard on this and even after the lesson.

As Edith said we have a crowded and busy recess. See! Man Chun was so happy! :]

In our science lesson, Mr. Dik had told us how hard did the 3A in the past work and say that we are totally different with them. Do you know why? In our class, if one classmate have say some opinion, and there are many feedback from the class. I agree with Mr. Dik that we are not same as the past 3A but I think it will be more fun if there are some feedback and jokes.

The busy room of 3A by Edith

Since everyone has different things to do during the recess, our lovely 3A classroom becomes more and more crowded and busy. Some of the girls are chatting and playing, some of them are doing revision and playing the recorder. But most of the sounds are come from the boys! As they always play so exciting games, they always made a loud voice of laughing and playing. But the classroom is always peaceful. All of classmates have their own things to do. I think it is really good for that because that means we have things we can do! Not just wasting our time for sleeping or do some meaningless things. For all those three years in secondary school, I think I am satisfied with this all kinds of noise. If the classroom is quite, then I may have some bad feeling because there must have something wrong!

Daily Life by Tiffany Ho

18/10/2010     Mon.
Last Friday, is last year's 2a class' meeting activity. But I did not go because when I was on the road to home, I broke my leg . Therefore, I did not go. However, today I heard that the activities were great. I feel disappointed that I didn't go.I need to forget about it and do things normally.

In the early morning , the boys came to school early and went to the basketball court to play basketball . They played and played , until the school bell rings , before they went back to classroom to tidy up their things and begin the lesson.

Today is the first school day in the week, we had two Chinese lessons. In the first Chinese lesson, we had a listening exercise..two lessons passed.

Then, we had the LS lesson . normally we have a dictation in this lesson but we asked our LS teacher to dictate in the next lesson so we had no dictation in this lesson. We went to the computer room to do research for our projects.

The next lesson was the English lesson , we all did not leave the computer room. When Mr. Cheng came in, he told a good news to us. It's that we all doing a book about a kid, before that book had to be finished by Wednesday. But now, we can have more two weeks to do this project. when we heard that we all felt very happy and continued to do our book. Some groups have already finished their book , so they tried to make them than better.

After the lunch time, we all had the LOF (Math's lest). this lest is not very difficult, after LOF most of the classmates said it's difficult. If you find it is difficult , next time you must work harder.

Things happened in the last few days By Yoyo Ho

9/10

That day, we had a ‘Valerie Farewell Party’. As Valerie have to go at 21/10, so we had this party. We met at 1:45pm and then we go to Tai Mei Tuk together. Actually, very few people went to this party that day. After we got there, we rented three bicycles.

After 1 hour, some of them have to go, so we 'drive' them to the bus stop. Afther that, we went to play again. At aroung 6:00pm, we went to BBQ. One of the staff member kept on speak with Mr. Cheng in Cantonese. Of course, Mr.Cheng hadn't answer him any of them!

12/10
As we finished watching ‘The Diary of a Wimpy Kid’. So Mr. Cheng gave us an English project- ‘The Diary of a ______ Kid’. We have to hand in by this Wed!
Good news: We don’t have English homework for the whole week.
Bad news: We only have one week to do this project.

14/10
Today had the first class performance rehearsal. Actually, we have already finished the writing part, but we just had the rehearsal from today. Also, there are very few people went to the rehearsal. But all of the them left for school at 5:00pm that day ( who went to the practice )As we will have the class performance on 26/10. So we keep on practice in these days!

15/10
Today, we had our first birthday party. Some of the classmates made some birthday card for them. We had a birthday cake and the best drink- Pepsi. They bought 2 bottles of Pepsi, but we couldn’t drink two of them.

Valerie didn’t go to school for a week. As she has to go at 21/10.

Busy busy busy by Mr. Alan Cheng

English Choral Speaking, Chinese Choral Speaking, Science dictation, Maths quiz, Chinese dictation, English project, Hall assembly performance, the list goes on. 3A Students must be feeling stressed and under pressure these days, and I wouldn't blame them. It really is remarkable how much they are doing everyday! So I hope that parents can be understanding of the students because they really are going through a tough time.

As for students, I hope that you can get through this difficult period of time. We only have a little over a week until our show time! I know how much you all want to do well in the hall performance and it may be our only chance to shine in front of the school this year. Let's work hard together and make sure that we have no regrets. I'm sure all the sweat and tears will be worth it in the end. However, you must still make sure that you are able to fulfill the basic requirements of being a student i.e. trying your hardest in each subject.

Of course it's challenging trying to balance so many things at the same time. But you might find that it is exactly these difficult periods of time which you learn the most from - learning how to do things a little more efficiently, learning how to manage your time better, learning how to better deal with pressure and stress etc. So keep walking forwards, if you feel tired, your classmates, Ms. Ho and I will be willing to help pull you forwards so that we are all still walking at the same pace.

Note to parents: The students will be staying after school these days to practice for the hall assembly performance. The two official days which they must stay is 15/10 and 22/10, but some may need to stay for other days too. If they stay in school later than 5p.m., I will sign in their student diaries to tell you. Many thanks for your support and understanding!

A little thing about our class room By Ernest Wong

A little thing about our class room By Ernest Wong
I found that our classroom's windows can watch all the basketball courts. We can all watch people playing basketball at lunch. Once, Oscar was playing basketball in the court. However, he forgot to give the science homework to Man Chun. So we opened the window and shouted out. 'Oscar, you have not handed in your homework!' He could listen that.  Finally, he gave us a reply. However, it was not quite clear when we see the court at the back.
The first day Winson was being a prefect. He went to the basketball court and he said he listened some of the girls were calling him. He said he did not like it.
I think this is funny, there is a new way to ask someone to hand in their homework.

Some feelings of some Thursday lesson by Winson Wong

The first lesson of this Thursday was Integrated Science. Today's lesson was about the digestive system. For this system, we had a lot of new vocabulary need to remember, for example, the esophagus and some part of the liver. When that was nearly the bell ring, we kept on asking question and Mr. Dik  just had to go for his next lesson and could not stop our lesson completely.xD

The second lesson was Chinese Studies. It was a hard lesson as we couldn't stop writing down the notes. Our Chinese Studies teacher, Ms Chow said that the notes we took down was more useful then the book we had!

The third lesson was Physical Education. For the girls, they played volleyball and for the boys, we had the 9 minutes run. It was so tiring for us after we ran for at least 10 laps!!
For the Thursday lesson, I always think that it's a hard day as we usually feel tired after we just had the third lesson!!
